Citizenship Skills | Akhlaqiat, Greeting, Traffic & Eating Manners


AKHLAQIAT

·       Queuing.

·       Not throwing litter.

·       Cleaning tables after a snack.

·       Picking up things from the floor.

·       Keeping yourself clean and taking bath.

·       Washing Hands.

·       Keeping your nails trimmed and clean.

·       Brushing teeth.

·       Combing hair.

·       Respect for Parents Teachers and Elders of society.

·       Keeping silence in anger.

·       Avoiding rough play, Pushing and throwing things at each other.

·       Use courtesy words.



GREETING MANNERS

·       Say ‘Assalam o Alaikum’ when you meet people. 

·       Introduce yourself when you meet people/ fellows.

·       Say ‘How are you’ to your fellows.

·       Say Allah Hafiz when you leave.   

·       Say “Jazak Allah” when anyone do good to you.          

 

TRAFFIC MANNERS

·       Better late than never.

·       Drive at a safe speed.

·       Maintain a safe distance between vehicles.

·       Keep your eyes on the road.

·       Do not cut off other vehicles.

·       Don’t go beyond the speed limit.

·       Cross the road at the Zebra Crossing.

·       Do not run on the streets.

·       Always walk on the pavement

·       Strap on seatbelts in cars.

·       Get off on the safer side of the car.


EATING MANNERS

·       Wash your hands before eating.

·       Take a glass of water at least fifteen minutes before taking your meal.

·       Say “Bismillah” and “dua” before eating.

·       Take your meal on napkins.

·       Take your meal with right hand.

·       Do not talk while eating.

·       Say “Alhamdulillah” after eating.
