Story

 

Imagine that you were Patrick’s elf. Write a story how you made Patrick do his homework himself.

Patrick was an active boy who loved outdoor games like hockey and basketball. He was an enthusiastic player but somehow was not interested in studies. Because of his poor interest in studies, he shirked work and was warned strictly by his teacher.

 As we all know that hard work is the key of success. So, as a Patrick’s elf I will make him realise the importance of hard work. In this way, his interest will be developed in studies and he will be able to complete his homework in time. His teachers and parents will be happy after that and he will score high marks in the examination.

A thirsty crow

Once there was a crow. He was very thirsty. He flew here and there in search of water. But he could not found water anywhere. At last he reached a garden. He saw a pot in the water. The crow was very happy. There was a very little water in it. He could not drink it. He thought a plan. He brought some pieces of stones and put them into the pot. The water rose up. He drank water and flew away.

Moral: God helps those who help themselves

Necessity is the mother of invention.

Write an essay on festivals.

“Festivals are the beautiful celebration that makes a nation follows its values and culture”

 Pakistan is the land of diverse people and ethnicity. The cultural and religious values are deep-rooted in our society. Allah has blessed our country with many cultural values and festivals. Our country takes pride in several cultural festivals and customs.

The major religious  festivals are:

Eid ul Fitr and Eid ulAdha

My favorite festival is Eid ulfitr. Eid-ul-fitr is celebrated after the holy month of Ramadan. Muslims fast during the month of Ramadan with full devotion and for the
sake of finding Allah’s blessings. This month is considered a month full of blessings by Allah.

At the day of that festival, Muslims take bath, brush teeth, wear best clothes and goes for Eid prayer near the mosques. After pray they meet to their friendsand family members  with full joy and eat vermicelli (sawaeyan) a sweet dish. People visit their friends and relatives. Muslims enjoy this festival all over the world.

Household chores help children to learn important skills and feel good about contributionin family life. I love to clean my house. it’s not only  a good practice but also essential for a healthy life. I clean my house by dusting, keeping things in right place, cleaning    things regularly with wet clothes to ensure the removal of dust. By this, guests who visit our house admire the beauty of our house. I think everyone should give it a try as it's a good activity and is good for respiratory system.
